CALEB Prize short-listing

Unfortunately Blue Freedom wasn't amongst the three finalists for the CALEB Prize (Adult fiction category), but I'm still grateful to be short-listed. Congratulations to Paula Vince (Best Forgotten), Mary Hawkins (Justice at Baragula), and Carol Preston (Mary's Guardian) for their well-deserved nomination as finalists.

Blue Freedom to be re-released!

As part of the restructure of Sunpenny Ltd (my publisher), all their current titles will be re-released in the near future - including Blue Freedom. Plans are also underway to release all their titles in e-book format. I'll post further details and links on my website (and my author Facebook page) as they become available.

CALEB Prize entry

The deadline for entries for this year's Caleb Prize, an award for published works by Australian authors, is June 30th 2011. I've submitted Blue Freedom for consideration by the judges. The winner will be announced in November.

Rose and Crown's editor, Jo Holloway, has announced the publication date for the three place-getters in the publishing house's 2009 New Novels Competition. The three inspirational romance novels: Embracing Change (by Debbie Roome), A Flight Delayed (by KC Lemmer), and Blue Freedom (by Sandra Peut), will be published in the UK on September 27, 2010. People are able to pre-order copies of each book directly from the Rose and Crown website.
